The Little Soap Shoppe submitted a request through webdesignpalmcoast.com to have a web site constructed.  The main objectives for the site included creating a shopping bag system that would allow for customers to purchase the all natural products with the same ease as purchasing through any of the many retail outlets around Palm Coast that carry the product line.

Keeping visual continuity between the existing color palette and the sites’ color scheme was a main objective.  We created many custom art assets that contain dynamic rollover states that added visual flair to the web sites design.  Also incorporated into the design was a jQuery method of viewing larger images without sending the customer to a new window.

The shopping cart system built into the site allows for the automatic creation of invoices and shipping labels.  The cart is hooked into various shipping services to enable real-time shipping cost estimations.  The customers also have the ability to log in and view past purchased as well as being able to re-order past purchases.  The system is also in place to allow for wholesale membership group to allow for a special bulk purchase rate.  These are just a few of the features built into the shopping cart system.

With all of these features one would think that maintaining this site would involve having a full time web developer on staff, but in fact this site can be maintained all by the owner of The Little Soap Shoppe.
